Organisations

A shared case file.
A decision to prepare.

When several teams work on the same situation, they need to understand what a conclusion rests on and what could change it.

The need

Different versions of documents, scattered observations and explanations that do not agree: a summary alone is not always enough to prepare the discussion.

  1. Bring the questions together

Which case file needs to be examined? Who prepares the analysis, who reviews it and who makes the decision? These roles define the need to be evaluated.

  2. Compare what supports the explanations

CHRONOS aims to help bring together relevant information, sources and contradictory elements to examine different interpretations of the situation.

  3. Prepare the next steps

The intended outcome may take the form of a comparison, a decision brief or a verification plan. It should enable another person to pick up the reasoning.

What the evaluation needs to show

For a chosen case file, the teams will need to check whether the sources can be used, uncertainty is explicit and the conclusion can be revised. A time-saving aim does not replace an examination of the quality of the result.

CHRONOS is in preproduction. The functions presented describe aims and intended uses. Capabilities and performance remain to be evaluated for specific uses.
